WHAT TO EXPECT:

I will be reopening June 15th, 2020 on a limited basis. I have pushed back opening as I will need time to get everything safely installed to abide by the new regulations. This pandemic experience is undeniable going to shape our history and alter the industry of bodywork for the foreseeable future. I appreciate your business and support while I navigate these executive orders in order to bring you the safest and most ethical sessions.

If you are at risk, I respectfully ask you to stay home and not book.

High Risk Clients include:

  • Those over the age of 65
  • Cardiovascular disease (including long term high blood pressure) - Even when treated, the damage from these diseases put people at risk.
  • Diabetes- Poor healing is common and even when treated, existing. Damage and impaired immune system puts people at risk.
  • Clients on medications to suppress the immune system- Steroids and other medications typically used in treatment of Rheumatoid Arthritis, Lymphedema, Parkinson's, Psoriasis, Lymes, HIV, Fibromyalgia, Severe Asthma, and other Inflammatory disorders.

The following precautions are mandatory for all clients:

  • For each appointment, I will have an online COVID- 19 Release waiver that must be completed before your appointment. You will also be asked to fill out our online intake form to update our system. I need accurate and updated contact forms in case we need to get ahold of you.
  • I will only be allowing 60, 75, and 90 minute sessions until further notice.
  • If you have any symptoms please stay home. If you have symptoms at ANY time in the two week period leading up to your appointment, you will need to reschedule. You may not reschedule until you have been symptom free for at least two weeks.
  • Please take your temperature at home before coming into the office. I will be checking temperatures with a no touch thermometer upon entry. If you have a temp of 100.4 or higher, you will be turned away at the door.
  • Upon arrival, you will be asked to wash your hands. There will be a functioning sink in the treatment room for your use.
  • When you arrive to your appointment, please call or text and wait in your car until prompted to come inside. This limits people in our waiting area and allows us to navigate social distancing more effectively.
  • MASKS: you will be required to wear one throughout your session, even while face down. Bring your own mask, if for some reason you have not been able to source a suitable mask, I do have some available.
  • NO face or intra-oral massage will be provided at this time.
  • GLOVES: are not required. Please do not bring them into the office.
  • Do not bring your phone into the office without prior approval for emergencies only. Please leave it in your vehicle.
  • Purses and bags will not be allowed in the office.
  • Please touch as little as possible in the office.
  • You may not bring anyone to your appointment. If you need assistance getting to your appointment or into the building please call prior to your appointment to notify me.

  • If you are paying in CASH,  please bring exact change.
  • You can also pay remotely through the new Vagaro booking software, Venmo, or Cash App. If you wish to pay remotely, please pay ahead of time as no cards will be taked at the time of your appointment.
  • We will reschedule for your next appointment via text or email after your appointment

How else is the studio changing to ensure sanitation?!

  • All plush items have been removed from the treatment room. I am replacing them with things that will be wiped down and sanitized with CDC recommended cleaning agents.
  • Everything will be wiped down with CDC recommended cleaning agents in between clients and deep cleaning will happen daily.
  • A new sink will be installed for immediate hand washing without risk of cross contamination.
  • The table will have a new Vinyl cover over the table warmer and will be cleaned after each session.
  • Regulation grade air filtering system will be in operation.
  • UV sanitizing lights will be turned on in between clients.
  • I will be wearing all required PPE and changing for each client.
  • *This is all in addition to our standard universal precautionary protocols.
